After a long and an inclusive process, we are pleased to inform you about the results of the refreshed student uniforms.
Our brand consultant, Tangible, put together a series of community engagement workshops from November 2017 to January 2018. These workshops engaged a range of stakeholders from the school community and sought feedback on the design and fabric choices for the refreshed uniform. The stakeholders engaged included the parent representatives, staff representative council, school shop, and student councils. In these workshops, the groups were presented options, voted on their preference and made recommendations.
In late February 2018, Tangible presented the final design and fabric results to the Senior Management Team who supported and approved the combined results of the stakeholders. This brought a formal end to the design and fabric process. The Senior Management Team then decided that a tender process was essential to ensure the community received the best terms for the refreshed uniform. In April 2018, the Finance and Administration department commenced a tender process where two other vendors were invited to submit their tenders. By May 2018, Shanghai Uniform emerged as the best option and was selected as our uniform vendor.
