As part of GESS’s initiative to become a more responsible and greener school, we celebrated Tree Day in art class with Focke Wurster last week. This day reminds us of how important it is to preserve the valuable trees and thereby also the climate in the world. Under the guidance of Focke Wurster, the students in Kindergarten, Pre-Primary and Primary school painted pictures of trees during art class and they even built a tree during the Arts and Crafts CCA. All the finished trees were planted symbolically. Furthermore, we will also plant a new friendship tree on our new campus at Dairy Farm Lane. Many thanks to the students for their great work and to Roman Weiss for his collaboration.
