Graduation Ceremony 2019

On 7 June 2019, parents and teachers sat in the audience, swelling with pride, as our Grade 12 graduating students from both the IB and German sections walked the stage with their diplomas. The Graduation Ceremony was every bit as grand as the occasion was to the students who were crossing one of the biggest milestones of their lives. The President of the Board of Governors, Mrs Rachel Ward, shared a message with the graduates about how they are not just stars for the evening but they will continue to be stars, shining their light on the world, wherever they go next. We were also honoured to have the Chargés d'affaires a.i., from the Germany Embassy Singapore, Mr Oliver Fixson at the ceremony and Mr Fixson reminded the students about how as their school chapter closes, it also marks the beginning of something new for all of them. And for the last time, the students were addressed by the Princpal Mr Christoph Zänglein who shared nuggets of wisdom on how to navigate the world that lies beyond the school’s walls. The event wrapped up with ample opportunities for students to hug their friends and teachers goodbye, capture memories from the evening at our photo booths and we bade them farewell knowing new adventures await them!
