A successful year for GESS

Our students did not let the corona-virus crisis stop them from learning and researching. On the contrary, they were awarded a number of impressive prizes and awards this school year:

  • Our Grade 7 students entered a global competition organised by the German Chamber of Commerce with a digital project and were awarded the 2nd prize which carries a prize money of €40,000.
  • Lynn Geyer, one of our graduates, was one of the top 16 participants in this year’s Biology Olympiad in Germany.
  • Our Grade 11 students studying for the IB Diploma also took part in a Biology Olympia in Great Britain and won several bronze medals as well as a silver medal.
  • The students of our Junior Engineer Academy successfully participated in this year’s “Jugend forscht” competition in Frankfurt where they made the 2nd place.

We congratulate all young scientists and
    researchers on their outstanding achievements!
