International schools have different grade or year placement systems. At GESS, we follow a 12-grade placement system and a 31 July age placement date. Like most international schools in Singapore, the school year is from August to June.
The below table is a reference guide to help you understand comparisons to other school systems. If your child is coming from a southern hemisphere (January to December) school year or April to March school year, there will be differences in the grade placement.
