GESS Eco Fieldtrip

In March 2010 about 80 students visited ‘The Roots Resort’ in Ipoh, Malaysia. The itinerary of the students was jam-packed full of activities, including a visit to an Orang Asli village and the ‘Ecofieldtrips’ mangrove nursery at Kuala Gula. Samantha Craven, Senior Biologist and Project Manager of Ecofieldtrips:

“Your Grade 8 trip in Ipoh has been the highlight of 2010 for us, being the first trip to The Roots. The feedback from students and teachers was fantastic to hear, especially since our staff had such a good time running the trip! The trips following yours have gone from strength to strength - but yours, being the first, earned itself a special mention in our newsletter!”
